DIRECTIONS FROM SEATTLE:
If you are traveling over Snoqualmie Pass to our Fly Shop in Ellensburg it is a very scenic and simple drive. The total miles from downtown Seattle are approximately 110. The total travel time is approximately 154 minutes. Below are directions and complete maps. If you have any problems understanding them, contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
Directions:
Take I-90 East out of Seattle. Stay on I-90 as you cross over Snoqualmie Pass and continue on to Ellensburg. When you reach exit #109 exit off the ramp and follow it down to the stop sign.
At the stop sign take a right. You are now on Canyon Road. Follow Canyon Road north, into the city of Ellensburg. Once you enter the city, Canyon Road becomes Main St.
Follow Main, passing through the first stop light. As you pass through the light, Rite-Aid will be on the east side of the street, continue west on Main. As you come upon Yamaha Jack's and Kentucky Fried Chicken on the west side of the street, we are directly across from these establishments.
There is a sign on the street (left) and we are in the last suite of the office building.
Take a right into the parking lot and park in any of the spaces that are available.
DIRECTIONS FROM SPOKANE:
Unfortunately most of the drive from Spokane is not very scenic. Interstate 90 takes you through the fertile valley of Eastern Washington where everything from sweet corn, potato's, wheat and a wide variety of other vegetables and seeds are grown. It is approximately 179 miles from Spokane to Ellensburg. The driving time is about 242 minutes.
Directions:
From Spokane take I-90 west and follow it through the towns of Ritzville, Moses Lake, & Quincy. Coming out of Quincy you drop down into the Columbia River Gorge and this is a spectacular view of this mighty river. You will cross the expansion bridge into the small town of Vantage and start your ascent into the Kittitas Valley. Interstate 90 passes through the town of Kittitas and you are now about 5 miles from the city of Ellensburg. As you approach the city, take the Canyon Road Exit and follow the off ramp to the stop sign. Take a right at the stop sign and follow Canyon Road north through town.
Once you enter the city, Canyon Road becomes Main St. Follow Main, passing through the first stop light. DIRECTIONS FROM WENATCHEE:
The drive from Wenatchee through Blewett Pass is one of the most scenic in the state. During the fishing months the pass is usually free from snow & ice, except at the highest elevations. The drive from Wenatchee to Ellensburg is approximately 81 miles and take about 128 minutes.
Directions:
Take Highway 2 west out of Wenatchee to Highway 97. This takes you through Blewett Pass. Most of the pass is two lane road and the speed limit is restricted in places. Follow Highway 97 to I-90 in South Cle Elum. Take the I-90 east exit and follow to Ellensburg Exit # 109 and follow the off ramp to the stop sign.. Take a right at the stop sign and follow Canyon Road north through town.

DIRECTIONS FROM TRI CITIES:
The drive from the Tri-Cities area is quite scenic, as Interstate I-82 parallels the Yakima river most of the distance. As you pass the city of Yakima, you will have two highway options. You can continue on I-82 to Ellensburg, or get off at the Selah exit and follow the Canyon Road to Ellensburg. The Canyon Road parallels the Yakima river through the well known Yakima river canyon. The drive from the Tri-Cities area to Ellensburg is approximately 120 miles and take about 167 minutes.

Take I-82 west out of Pasco, heading towards Prosser & Yakima. Follow I-82 to Ellensburg and the Canyon Rd. Exit. Take a right at the stop sign and follow Canyon Road north through town.
