The rainbows of the Yakima are
well known for their aerobic, aerobatic style and grace. The
beauty of these wild creatures is unrefined and unsurpassed. The resident rainbows of the Yakima are also well
known for their stubbornness and at certain times of the year will
impose their policies. A drift of your imitation, drag free is
required for attentive attentions. If you can achieve this desired
effect, they will reward you. |

Aquatic
hatches are an ongoing event throughout the entire year on Central
Washington's Yakima River. During particular times in the
season, these creatures both big and small, hatch in abundance
throughout the main stem of the river. It is during these peak
times that fish feed at optimum levels. Scheduling your guided tour around a favorite insect emergence is particularly popular with many of our guests. |
|
|
Because of
seasonal changes and day light savings time, the "Full Day Tour"
initially begins the first day of April. Our tour times are usually based upon insect
emergence activity and the time of day that is occurring. During
specific times of the year, the full day tours start time will vary
depending on weather conditions and optimal feeding times for the fish.
This schedule will be address at the time of your reservation. |
