For over 20 years now, the Regal name has become known throughout the fly tying community as the source for the best tying vises on the planet.

The object was to build a vise with superior hook-holding power, as few moving parts as possible, and design it with the fly tier in mind. Once these three basic requirements were fulfilled we knew we had something special.

As a matter of fact, the basic design was special enough to obtain a U.S. patent. More importantly, the design was accepted by fly tiers worldwide as a valuable tool that has become a staple in their fly tying endeavors.
