Although the jaw mechanism is carefully engineered to open easily, once they are closed you will find that no other vise even comes close to their holding power. The basic idea behind a Regal vise is that of a self-adjusting clamp. This self-adjusting feature means easier and faster hook placement within the jaws. A comfortable grip easily opens the jaws and releasing the grip closes them on the hook.
