After extensive testing and
field research, Sage created three unique fly lines designed to help you
get the most out of your time on the water. |
|
|
Each line features one of
the Sage proprietary tapers and is precisely formulated with a
weight-specific, balanced loading system. In other words, Sage didn't
just develop a taper and make the 3-weight a smaller version of say, the
8-weight,like a lot of off-the-shelf lines. |
|
|
Instead, they designed each
size of a given line series individually, from the ground up, to
optimize the characteristics of a specific rod weight. These
"customized" lines all share the Sage easy-shooting, high-floating,
self-lubricating polymer coating, and a level of casting and fishing
enhancement you have to experience to believe. |

Taper II |
|
| The improved
Sage Performance Taper II floating fly line is built
specifically to balance with the actions of Sage premium fly
rods. We have fine-tuned our Balanced Loading System to create
a smooth-handling, high-floating line that provides enhanced
line feel through your cast for greater distance, accuracy and
consistency. |
