In 1999, Bob Veverka's book, Innovative Saltwater Flies, introduced the fly fishing public to Capt. Joe Blados and his killer crease flies and especially his crease fly poppers. But... consistently cutting out those shapes was difficult and frustrating.  No two crease fly poppers have to look alike; you can exercise endless artistic approaches for tantalizing (and catching!) fish in both freshwater and saltwater.
